Clawless Computer
A calm, capable desktop home for AI work.
What it is
Clawless Computer is a native desktop application that brings AI agents, memory, skills, channels, tools, and browser automation into one place. It runs on your machine, talks to the AI providers of your choice over your own provider keys, and stores conversations locally.
Under the surface, Clawless is the polished desktop layer on top of OpenClaw, an open-source AI engine licensed under the MIT license. OpenClaw provides the agent runtime, the multi-provider model access, and the tool execution. Clawless provides the user interface, the editorial defaults, the onboarding, and the day-in, day-out experience.
Built for
People who want serious AI capability without becoming a developer. Writers who want a thinking partner. Researchers who need to track conversations across weeks. Anyone who is tired of paying $20 a month for a chat window with no memory.
Why it exists
Most AI tools today feel loud. They want you in the app, they push notifications, they try to be a chat surface and a creative assistant and a productivity hub all at once. Clawless is built the opposite way: present when you are using it, quiet when you are not, and oriented around the few things you actually do most days. The goal is a tool that disappears between sessions.
How it is different
One plan, three buying options
No tier ladder, no premium-only features. Pay $4.95 monthly, $50 yearly, or $199 once for life. Same product at every price point.
Bring your own keys
You sign up directly with the AI providers you want (OpenAI, Anthropic, Google, Groq) and pay them at their rates. Clawless never proxies your conversations or marks up tokens.
Memory that learns and forgets on purpose
Tier-classified, decay-managed, pin/unpin under your control. Not a transcript dump, not a black box. You can see what is remembered and edit it.
What you can do with it
Multi-provider AI chat
One chat surface, every major provider, your own keys. No vendor lock-in.
- OpenAI, Anthropic, Google, Groq, plus 800+ models through OpenRouter
- Switch models mid-conversation; the new model picks up where the previous one left off
- Streaming responses with code-block syntax highlighting and rich Markdown
Memory tiers
Memory that grows with you, organized by importance, edited by you.
- Pinned memories ride into every conversation; insights bubble up automatically
- Decay handling so stale facts fade without being lost
- Cross-agent recall so switching agents mid-task does not drop context
Skills marketplace
Reusable recipes that turn agents into specialists at jobs you do over and over.
- ClawHub catalog of community-built skills, install in one click
- Build your own in a small form: name, trigger, instructions, tools
- Skills are local on your machine, never uploaded unless you publish them
Channels
Reach your agents from your phone, your team chat, or wherever you already are.
- 22 platforms supported including Telegram, Discord, Slack, Microsoft Teams, Google Chat
- Per-channel direct-message policy: anyone can DM, or only paired users
- Setup wizard guides you through tokens with deep links to the right page on each provider
Tools and MCP
Agents that read, write, search, click, and run code, with security profiles you control.
- Filesystem, web, shell, and MCP-server integrations out of the box
- Three security profiles (Strict, Standard, Permissive) plus per-tool approval prompts
- Browser automation lets agents drive real websites for tasks where there is no clean API
Scheduled automations
Cron-based scheduling so recurring prompts run themselves.
- Friendly presets (hourly, weekday morning, weekly Friday) plus raw cron for power users
- Send results in-chat, to a connected channel like Slack, or to a file
- Pause and resume non-destructively, with a job history of every previous fire
Use cases
Writing partner that remembers your style
Pinned voice notes plus skills that draft in your tone. Your assistant stops needing to be re-instructed every session.
Research assistant that tracks sources
Memory carries citations across sessions. Pick up tomorrow where you left off without re-pasting yesterday.
Daily standup via Telegram
A scheduled automation pings your Telegram bot every morning and an agent posts your team summary.
Browser-task delegation
Book, scrape, fill, and summarize on real websites where APIs do not reach. Agents drive a real browser session you control.
Channel router for incoming chat
Slack DMs route to the right sub-agent. Researcher fields questions about sources; Writer fields questions about drafts.
Personal knowledge base
Memory plus skills working together. Ask, decide, capture, retrieve, all from one quiet desktop window.
Built on OpenClaw
Clawless Computer is the desktop experience for the OpenClaw project. OpenClaw is open source under the MIT license and is the engine that handles model routing, tool execution, and the agent runtime. Clawless adds the user-facing software on top: the window, the panels, the onboarding, the integrations, the editorial defaults that make the engine usable without reading source code. Two distinct projects, openly acknowledged, with the engine available to anyone who wants it.
Try Clawless free for 7 days.
